Detroit RiverFront Conservancy Chooses Harrington Communications to Develop Public Service Campaign
Harrington Communications client Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, the not-for-profit entity responsible for developing and maintaining the Detroit Riverfront, worked with us to develop a public service campaign to promote the Riverfront this summer. The campaign involves print ads, billboards, internet ads, TV and radio. The ads feature Riverfront imagery and verbs such as "Watch," "Enjoy" and "Discover," representative of things people can do on the Riverfront.

Advertising Campaign for Conway MacKenzie
As a top corporate restructuring and financial advisor to troubled companies, Harrington Communications client Conway MacKenzie is thriving in the current economic environment. Not wanting to rest on its laurels, however, Conway MacKenzie asked Harrington Communications to develop a new print ad campaign that would run in local and national publications. The end result was a series of ads featuring stark, symbolic images and clever headlines and copy that promote the full scope of the firm's services.

Harrington Communications Wins Six Awards
in Prestigious International Design Competition
We are proud to announce that Harrington Communications recently won six awards in the Hermes Creative Awards 2009 international competition.

We received Platinum Awards for an annual report developed for the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy and integrated branding campaigns for both Cambridge Consulting Group and The Cedars of Dexter. We also received a Gold Award for an animated brochure designed for Administar Services Group, and two Honorable Mentions for an invitation for Administar and branding for MedEx Pack. We'd like to thank our clients for the opportunity to do this award-winning work.

The 2009 international Hermes Award had over 3,700 entries throughout the United States and several other countries. Harrington Communications work was judged for excellence among work submitted by corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelance submissions.

Miller Canfield Hires Harrington Communications Interactive Division bryte to Develop Animated Display Advertising at
Detroit Metro Airport

Miller Canfield is an international law firm and the state of Michigan's largest and oldest firm. The firm hired Harrington Communications interactive division bryte to develop animation promoting the firm for a new flat screen advertising display at Detroit Metro Airport. The dynamic animation promotes the firm and welcomes people visiting the city for the SAE conference and Final Four basketball tournament.

Law Firm Jaffe Raitt Retains bryte for Animation Project
Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, one of Michigan's largest and most respected law firms, recently retained Harrington Communications' interactive division bryte to assist it with a Flash animation project commemorating its 40th Anniversary.

For its 40th Anniversary, Jaffe undertook an ambitious effort to to donate 8000 hours (40 hours for each of its 200 people) to good causes in 2008. bryte worked with Jaffe to develop an approximately 90 second animation featuring compelling graphics, photography, music and voice over telling the story of Jaffe's pro bono efforts throughout the year.

The animation was used during a presentation by the firm's marketing director, emailed to firm employees, clients and friends and will be posted on the firm's website.
